BRAHMA REFRACTORIES PVT. LTD. is situated at Rajganj Sizua Road, Rajganj, 20 KM west from Dhanbad, in the state of Jharkhand. The Company started its production from Feb 2005. It is one of the most modern Refractory Plant having all facilities for manufacturing of all types of Fireclay & High Alumina Refractories up to 90% Al 2 O 3 alongwith Zirmul, Sillimanite, Mullite, Acid Proof bricks etc. & Monolithics with an initial investment of Rs. 5.0 crores and still investment is going on.

Initially the Company was established with a view for its own consumption in its Coke Industries in India and Blast Furnaces Projects. It would not be out of line to mention here that its sister concerns are the largest manufacturer of Coke in India. Then during the later period of 2005 it was observed that if the plant does not enter other market areas it would be difficult to survive and thus prompting to cater the demands of other industries like Steel, Glass, Cement, Aluminium, Carbon & Petrochemicals Ferrous & non Ferrous industries etc.

As such the company started entering the local market viz: Steel plants under SAIL like Bokaro Steel Plant, IISCO Steel Plant, Durgapur Steel Plant, Rourkela Steel Plant, VIZAG Steel Plant & Bhilai Steel Plant, B.R.L (all Government organizations) and now it has become a regular supplier of these units. Besides above it has also expanded its market to various private sectors and supplying Blast Furnace Refractories & Hoogoven Checkers in 37%, 45% & 72% dense quality bricks to various customers and since then it has not looked back and progressing tremendously day by day.

During the year 2006 it has expanded its business to various industries like Glass, Cement, Aluminium etc. by supplying them Sillimanite, Mullite, Zircon and Zirmul quality bricks and different qualities of Castables.BRPL is expanding its marketing network by appointing agents throughout India & abroad to facilitate our customers and give them good service and technical support at their door steps.

The Company having 2 Tunnel Kilns, 200’ long Oil fired for continuous firing thereby causing capability of executing bulk orders. A maximum temp. of 1550°C can be achieved which we are maintaining for firing of High Alumina Products along with 2 Nos. of Oil fired D/D Kilns for calcinations of Raw-Materials and consistency in quality. Two No. of 400 Ton F.S. Press has also been installed looking to the demand of customers for bigger sizes Shapes & Blocks.

Under the expansion programme the Company is going to start a Rotary Kiln shortly. Expansion work is a routine in the Company for development.The Company employees directly over 240 people and has got a good number of Technical and Commercial and skilled employees & staff to take care of daily affairs with not a single day labour agitation.The Company is having full fledged own Laboratory for testing all Raw Materials and finished products with R & D facilities for improvement/development of our products.
